I have a rainbow in my 30gal and he isnt agressive. Hes old to and still the only thing he does is chase my silver dollars for trying to eat his shrimp pellets. Other than that he doesnt touch a thing!

Mine is aggresive, but he dosent do any harm and is in with an angel, and german ram. All three are aggresive twords each other, but in a playful manner. Never once has any fin been nipped or torn from there games of tag. I would say it would be ok only if you had fish that were tough enough to not get totaly bullied. Platies and danios wouldnt be good tank mates for them.

rainbows are very simalar but less fiesty but can become quite a pest as well.rtb sharks are bad news unless you are willing to go the extra mile.and for the record id sharks are catfish and shoudn't be sold anyways.another ill suited aquarium fish that grows too big for most any aquarium.that nervousness that you talk about that is usualy the deaht of these fish as the can never get adjusted to aquarium life especialy sudden changes in lighting.if you insist on a shark make it a rainbow not a rtb

i'm def a newbie, and have only had my rtb shark for about a week, but he seems really timid. he's usually lurkin by the rocks or behing the filter and i've never seen him get even remotely aggresive.

I guess i'll have to see as he gets bigger.

I do have to agree with the light thing. He freaks out a little when the light first turns on.
