I was thinking about adding a Red-Tailed Shark to my tank, as I'd like to have another bottom feeder.

Can anyone give me some general info about them? Are they peaceful, what cond. they like, how big they grow, anything.

Also will they get along with the fish in my sig?

Thanks.

I have one that Guppy Newbe gave me and he is fine with all my fish. She did say that he nipped at the long fins of her Sail Fin Pleco. None of my fish have long fins so I'm good. I don't know if that is true for all of them. He is cool to watch and a great addition.

The older and bigger they get the grumper they become! I had one max out at 7 inches he kicked my tiger barbs round the place!!

I would not chance it. I think your lyier(spl?) tail would suffer!

Hmmm... I didn't realize they grew that large. I don't think I'd have room in my current setup.

My other idea was an Oto, I know they stay small, but I heard that they are hard to find and acclimate.
