Reddish water

Hey there, I have my tank now for almost 6 months now and still I can't get rid of the reddishness in the water. I boiled the wood, both pieces twice and still after 6 months they color the water. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of the reddishness and stop it from occuring...

water changes--take out the wood/soak it longer.

it sounds like your drift wood. mine took 3 months of bi-weekly water changes to get rid of.

patience will pay off in the end---just keep up with your pwc's!
