Not yet ... I returned the terror this morning and am trying to negotiate the return of the other 2 cichlids for credit.

Is it safe to return him now with the other 2 in there now that the Green Terror is gone.

Also, can I just dump he entire contents of the bowl (water from acquarium - Sat afternoon) and the fish or do I need to pull him out - it'll be difficult since the neck of the bowl is tight.*crazysmil

Thanks

since you returned the one who started the aggression problems, I would try to re-introduce now.

I wouldn't dump the fish and water from the bowl into the tank. That could cause issues.
Instead (if possible) put the water and fish into a bag and reacclimatize to the main tank.
Dumping him straight into the tank is bad because sudden temperature changes could stress and/or kill him.
Dumping that water in your main tank is just not wise. (Think of the ammonia that has accumulated in there since Saturday.)
You don't want to jeopardize your main tank.

I would move the decorations around, acclimate and release fish...then observe to see how it goes.

Just put him back in after acclimating *GOLDFISH*... he's cowering up by the heater as he did originally though I did see him swim around once ... moved the ornaments around as suggested as well.

I would try to add a few more of his kind to the tank. Tetras are shoaling fish, so they feel safer in numbers.

And I would also keep trying to return the others for credit. Explain to them that you'll just be turning around and using that credit to buy fish that are more appropriate for your setup. They should be willing to work with you. Good luck, and let us know what you decide!
