replacement light hood, aquascene 5 gal

Trying to find out if replacement light hoods are available for aquascene 5 gal aquarium kits. Thought the bulb was out, but it looks like it is the fixture. We have had it for about 2 years. Not able to locate part. Does anyone know if it is available separate from the kit? Thanks.

I believe those are a Petsmart "own brand" tank, and I don't think they do any replacement parts. Someone who's good with DIY should be able to rewire the light with a new fixture for you. Otherwise, I think you'll just have to buy a new tank.
