Retro fit lighting?

i just got a great deal on a 12 gal eclipse tank and want to set it up at a nano salt water but I REALLY want to do a reef tank but the current lighting is just not good enough. Has anyone retro fit the lighting on this tank or have any suggestions as to what i could fit in it so that i could do a reef set up, thanks for any help.

i personally haven't done it but i know you can buy kits to do this or make your own. People usually use PC lighting for such a setup.

maybe one of those coral life set ups? take the lighting and wires out of the shell and put it all in the hood.

You'll need a bit more grunt than they provide. I thought ou could buy retrofits prety much off the shelf?

they have great retro fit system at http://www.hellolights.com/retligsys.html. They have compact florecents, MH, and then some. Just find the size (they have a section for nano tanks) and you should be able to find what your looking for

what type of corals are you looking to keep? different corals=different lighting needs

keep in mind that more wpg will probably equal more evaporation

i know a couple of our members are running that 96w quad on 10g tanks and they seem to really like it

i want a quad form corallife so badly! is there a cheap place to buy them from?
