I'm not usually one to post RIP threads when we lose a fish, usually because it's a fish I am not that attached to, usually neons, but this is different. Yogi and Lola are Koi that me and hubby got to celebrate our 1 year (of dating) anniversary a couple years ago. Pond started thawing and we found them among the ice that's left.
Oddly enough it looks like they are the only 2 to go. I don't see any of the goldies or the goldie/Koi mutts floating, just the 2 fish in there that the whole family was majorly attached to.
Before I get the questions about them being in the pond all winter... this is a 4500gal+ pond that is nearly 5' deep and had a deicer running all winter. I don't know what could have went wrong for them.
