My favorite fishie (although I feel bad choosing favorites) just died after a battle with dropsy. My boyfriend planned a special present for me, to get me a betta I had my eye on for a while. However, this betta ended up dying shortly after arrival. In exchange, I received Turbo...my orange/black female betta. She was a spunky little betta, it was hard to see her become bloated and sick. Despite careful attention and medication, she died. I hope she had a good time with me in my planted tank.
