I lost all of my fish to ICH. NOw what should I do to my tank? Should I empty it and clean everything and start new? Or just clean it all upwith the water in it, let it cycle for a month and start new?

My condolences.
I think I recall from Lotus' link that you can simply leave the tank to rest for several weeks and the ich will die off naturally. If the parasite has no host it will eventually die off. You should double check though http://cichlid-forum.com/articles/ich.php

I think I might have had a fungus too. I went to the pet store and bought fungus tablets and I took all of my plants and rocks out to clean them. I also bought a vaccum. I'm going to vaccum everything and start new. I don't want to break down the whole tank. I think I'll just let the tank run with no fish for about a month. That way I know it's safe for my next group of fish. I also bought a small tank so that I can quarintine fish before I put them in my tank. AND I bought stress coat. I really appreciate the help!!
