Hi All

I got 2 Rope fish about 5 days ago. Something bad is hapening with the one, The one gill is turing to a white color and it is spreding to the one eye. It looks like it is blind. I also notice that it is not using the one fin on the same side aswell. This all has happen in less than 2 days. Could this be a diseas from some sort, can it be cured, and will the rope be fine. the other rope is fine just this one worries me a bit.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like it could be an internal parasite. I have no personal experience with treatment, and from what I understand, the results often are not good. Perhaps some others can chime in here as well.
