Rowaphos

I have an undrilled 75g that I want to run rowaphos in. Should I just put it in a mesh bag and place that in my hob aquaclear filter that I now have my carbon in?

yes. That's what i do, no problems.

thats what I did on my 20 l when I had a bad case of algae, just used some phosban in a bag and ran it, this would work fine on your 65.

what size hob is it?

Kahlauzz, I know you have run Rowaphos in the past how much did you use in your 77 as mine is a 75.....not sure what my phosphates are but I don't have any algae problems just that I read that rowaphos can lower it to .o3 or better.....which is my aim. I think I am less than one...maybe .50 or so.

It isn't a real hob filter it is an old aquaclear 70 that I modded into a mini refuge by cutting it up.....there is a small area that holds about 2 c of carbon and will fit a like sized bag of rowaphos. I will pick some up tomorrow......

the 77g is still under "construction" so i'm with the ol' 55. I never had a perfect 0 po4 with rowaphos only, but under .25 for sure. Mix that with a biofilter pad and you'll be happy
