Ok i broke down and bought one of these guys as they look so cool and clean compared to the common pleco... this guy has his work cut out as the 10 gallon is got lots of algae for him to munch on... its all good if he dont eat it though just hoping he will. But i am worried as when i was taking him out from store the lady was nice enough to tie the bag handles... so i am carrying it out to the car with my hands full of other bags... the scary happens... i open door and bag falls out of hands onto parking lot, the bag didn't burst but the fish dropped four feet to the ground, he seems alright but i don't think they were designed to bungee jump or drop that far...lol. I will get pic tomorrow as he is so innocent and cool looking i think.

He should be fine, I hope.
Working in a post office, I see packages thown around, and I hear air ports are even worse. So your fish probably has already been thru some rough times.

Best of luck with your new rubber lip.

I had a fish (yoyo loach) jump from a container on the kitchen counter onto a tile floor, and he was OK. He was acting a little strange for a day or two, but I don't think there was any permanent damage.

Hopefully your new guy will be fine. :)
