Rubber-lipped Pleco

Just found a rubber-lipped pleco at my LFS. Any info would be appreciated. The store owner states its supposed to stay small, but small may be a relative word. I didn't have much luck searching

I've had 2 rubbernoses for 12 months+ and they haven't grown to more than 2" max.

I bought mine over 3 years ago. they are really cool and have their own personality. they like current and lots of oxygen. I have never seen algae in my 29 gallon for the 3 years Ive had it. excellent algae cleaners!! The size of mine is 3" I dont think that its grown since I bought it.

I feed a few times a week with hikari algae wafers.

Chaetostoma Milesi/Rubbernose Pleco, also called Bulldog. They are omnivores, so they'll scavenge and eat algae. You guys should try Planetcatfish.com they have all the info. They have pics and info on just about every catfish/pleco you could ever want. You can search by L number for plecoes or common names too.
