rubber nose pleco

would one of these be ok for a 10 gallon??? if not i could put it in my 55 well does it eat live plants or no ? does it eat snails?

No pleco should go in a 10g tank on a permanent basis, IMO. No, they don't eat plants or snails.

It would be possible to keep a rubber nose pleco in a ten gallon but that is pushing it. Because plecos produce so much waste you would need to do more frequent water changes. You could not get one for your 10 gallon because you have several fish in there already.

If you already have 2 Otos, I think your set Plecs and Otos do basically the same thing...
