Run carobon to remove metro?

Should I run carbon for a few days to remove metronidazole, or can I just do several large water changes over the course of a few days?

Ive never used carbon. Just do a massive waterchange once a day for two or three days. That should do the trick, its what i did and things are all fine now.

Antibiotics, trichlorfon and metronidazole, too, are easily removed by fresh carbon filtration.

edit: I have never used metronidazole, so I am not speaking out of experience.

I run carbon to remove the meds. About 24 hours will do it. Make sure it is fresh carbon.
