I lost a fish tonight and I'm not happy about it. He was almost two years old. Somehow I did not cycle my tank properly and the next thing I know he was floating upside down barely breathing. He was a beautiful ryukin. Now my other ryukin is sick too, but he's always been tough. I hope he makes it. I cannot believe I messed up cycling the tank. I feel so bad right now. I don't know what went wrong...*SICK*

I think I might call it quits for fish now. Marby was almost 4 yrs old. I just don't know what went wrong.....

How long after you added them to the new tank did they die?
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. It's tough when you have add them for so long!!

Even an uncycled tank shouldn't kill your fish within a couple hours or 1 day (at least I pretty sure it won't). Which is why I'm curious about the time frame.
