My 64 gallon im cycling I checked the Salinity today it read 1.022 i was wondering for normal everyday Salinity with firefish and clownfish is that ok. I know you can go lower for Ich treatment so I know they could live but are live rocks good to have with Salinity that low
That's fine for the LR and such... that's not even that low. That's right where I keep mine. Fish only (or with only live rock) should be 1.021-1.025, if you want a reef it needs to be 1.023-1.025.
Not to take over the thread but when I told my LFS that I was keeping my slainity at 1.025 they said that it low. ??? I thought I was keeping it on the high side. ???
