Salt in Tank

Referring to the 55 gal in my sig.

As you can see, I have Cories in there too. I add aquarium salt to the tank. 1 Teaspoon per 5 gals, when I do water changes.

I am reading this is NOT GOOD for the Cories.

#1 - they look fine. What kind of damage could I have done to them?

#2 - can they tolerate "some" salt?

#3 - should I stop all together?

Yeah, I was adding salt too. Just because it says on the carton that it helps promote stress coat and all. I understand. I quit adding it to mine when Tab told me it was bad for cories. And, it seems like there is no difference between adding it or not adding it IME. I just figured it would be safer to leave it out.
