This may be a dumb question, but I was wondering.... I am switching from a very successful 100 gal. freshwater to saltwater. Is it possible for me to use the water (or some of it) from the freshwater tank, mix salt, and add it back to the tank? Of course, I am going to add live sand and live rock afterwards. Is the bacteria the same? Will it survive? Can I use my old filters as well? (Eheim 2028, AC 500 and a Emperor 400). Thanks in advance!
