I am considering setting up a saltwater tank sometime in the not too distant future. Being a semi poor college student, cost is probably the most important factor. In deciding when to setup my tank. The largest that I'd likely be able to afford and have room for would be a 30 gallon. How much would a saltwater tank of that size cost to start up and maintain without making it too fancy (even though I probably will)? How would this compare to smaller tanks?
