I'm doing a 25% water change on my 10 gallon. After I get rid of 25% of the water, I'm going to mix the salt with the new water, but how long should I wait to put the new saltwater in.
it is best to let the salt mix overnight and then do your water change. that said, you can put it in almost immediately, just make sure the salt is fully dissolved
I like to wait overnight, but I've done it after solution. However it's a good idea to let it circulate for a while as it absorbs CO2 from the air and the pH will drop and stabilise
