Scaleless fish and Ich

I recently got 2 rams which have now shown symptoms of ich. One has a significant amount of white spots on his dorsal fin while the other's most obvious symptom is that he has one white spot on his head. None of my other fish are currently showing any symptoms though I realize that could change given ichs life cycle.

I would like to treat naturally but unfortunately the heater I have isn't working great at keeping the temperature up. I also have aquarium salt though I've heard this and/or the heat is not good for my plants.

So my question is...were I to use meds, what would be best considering I have a black ghost knife and some clown loaches? Ich Guard at half-strength? Quick Cure? Something else? Thanks for any imput.

I think the heat method would be best considering your stocking. Even using those meds at half strength you risk harming the fish you have. Perhaps borrow or buy a second heater to use while you treat?
