scales missing???

i just recently bought 3 guppies ... a male and a female are both missing scales on their body ...the female is missing scales near her head. The male is missing scales on his head. However the female just gave birth last night...So I dont know if this is a disease or a mark..

It sounds more like an injury. Do you have two males and one female or two females and one male? What size tank and what else is in there with them? I really hope it's not in the 3g tank, as you already have way too many fish in there.
