Scary worms from hell

So i wasn't the ones who witnessed it, but my brother saw these worms that were around...1-2 inches and pink in color. They had "catapillar" like hairs.

First off, does anyone know if these are bad or not.

and secondly, does anyone know what they are, can you send me a link to direct as to some pictures perhaps?

They are bristleworms. Are they coming out of your rocks? Not bad, but if they start to take over your tank that means that you are over feeding.

Bristleworms. Quite harmless to fish until their population sky rockets. Arrow crabs love these guys.
