We scored big today at the new LFS, a gold nugget pleco, and only $29.00

I REALLY want a zebra pleco! They are so cool, if I could get my fins on a male and a female, out of the goodness of my heart I would sell some of the young from them to you guys for $50

LOL - I went to the LFS yesterday and saw a tank full of goldies for sale, a couple of blues, bought a red fin (which may be L76) and ordered an L200.

We go for ages without seeing anything - then wham - they all turn up at once.

Now all I need are another couple of HUGE tanks and somewhere to put them.......(it's not fair)

purple how much are goldies where u live, cos at my lfs there really cheap, like only £12 my make bought a great looking one about a month ago.

Not far off Barb - these guys were going for less than £15 a pop - what was surprising was that there where 20 plus in the tank - about one inch long.

If that's all they had then I'd have gone for it - but I have a passion for L200 - and having noticed a lable at the top corner, I realised they couldn't be far away so stuck to my guns. Still bought the red fin (and still reckon it's an L76) but that's gonna be my lot despite surrefring from MTS.

Hope to set up a riverine 30 very soon to accomodate the L200 - and in a year and a half of watching I've yet to see a Zebra anywhere outside of import.

Still - 7 tanks is enough for now - lol
