When I changed my betta's water this morning he gave himself a good scrape on his back. I put in some salt. Does anyone know of anything else I should do? He went into shock for a minute and didn't seem to be breathing. Now he's up again, but he's just laying on the bottom. I don't know how badly he's hurt. He scraped off a patch of scales in front of his dorsal fin. Doesn't seem to be anything internal damaged. Help! I've been meaning to get rid of the plastic plants. That will happen this weekend if he gets up and going again. Don't want to stress him in the meantime.
