I have identified one of the marco algaes in my tank, it is called scroll algae. Is this stuff good for my tank? does it have any special needs? I think it is pretty coll looking and would like to keep some.

Yeah, scroll algae is where it's at, I loved the stuff on mine. But it grows fast so be ready to prune it... just don't prune it all... I did it twice and the third time it never came back, and I miss it a lot.

No special needs, and it is good for the tank like most macro algae, eats some nitrate.
