Sea Cucumber, Tiger Tail

What advise can you all give me on a tiger tail sea cucumber? I'm thinking about adding one, but I have heard they can be very dangerous if they die.

I used to have a Pink/Green Cucumber but it didn't survive the move to my new appartment. Luckily I notice it dieing before it spewed it's guts into my tank.

Yeah, that's all the info I read about them so far. I still have my star fish that is doing a decent job at keeping the sand clean.

I have a black sea cucumber in both my 75 and my 20g. The larger one lives in my 75 and has kept my sand pristine and white. He is now about 10 inches longe and hasn't been any problem at all

Do you have to worry about feeding it? Or does it just eat what's left in the sand? Do you think it would be too much to have a sand sifting star and one of these cucumbers?

I don't think I would have both. I opted for the cuc over the star as he only eats what is in the top layer of the sand. I have never fed him he just motors around slowly eating and reprocessing sand.......

I might have to make the switch.
