Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has treated internal parasites with Seachem Metronidazole with shrimp in the tank.
One of my dwarf puffers is looking a little slim. I have treated them before with Metronidazole and everything was fine. I don't add Metronidazole directly to the tank, rather I soak the food in a mild solution. I treated my dwarf puffers before I got the shrimp. The shrimp (tiny babies) were an unexpected gift from the owner of my LFS. I didn't really expect them to survive, but they have developed into a lovely little colony. I don't really want to kill them all and I doubt I will be able to remove them from the tank during treatment.

Thoughts or suggestions?

achase, I've used metronidazole at low doses with cherry shrimp and the shrimp were fine. The only thing I'd be concerned about is if any of the puffer food gets eaten by the shrimp...can you target feed to make sure the soaked food ends up in the puffers only?
