Seachem Prime Question

I read that Seachem prime detoxifies nitrates (among other things as well). Does that mean its in a state in which my plants cant use it?

I know lots of people with planted tanks use it, so I don't think it's a problem at all.

yeah, a lot of planted tank people use seachem prime (I use it too). I dont think it breaks down enough nitrates to harm plants. it just keeps it at a tolerable level for fish.
