Sorry if the pic don't work- just testing

So i have a little 5 ukgallon plastic tank with a 25w heater, a rock, a java leaf, some plant stem and lots of baby java, the animals are 3 ADF's and a baby amano shrimp. AND ITS SELF SUSTAINING! i have fed them once of 4 months of having them, does anyone have an explanation for this? the temp is 24.C and it is on my bedroom windowsill next to my bosai tree with no direct sunlight.

That's really cool - Something that I would like to try. My simple explanation is that adding light and heat (energy) to the tank allows it to produce the necessary nutrients. Try the pic again, please.
