So I picked up some kribs and tons of plants off CL yesterday (for free :)) and was wondering how old kribs have to be before they can be identifiably sexed. I got a pair of juviniles, each one just under 2 inches long and a pair of babies about 1.5 cm long. I didn't ask how old they were. Obviously the babies are too young to tell, but the juvies might be old enough. Their bellies are deep red/purple and dorsal fin and tail are black/orange. They both appear to be female, but maybe they are too young to tell. Dorsal fins on both appear slightly rounded and there is no "eye" on either tail.

Anyone with krib experience want to help out?

BTW, the babies are only here temporarily and if the juvi pair don't turn out to be a m-f pair I'll just be keeping one in the tank.
