I noticed a new appear in my tank a while ago and couldn't work out what it is. Doesn't look like the young of any older fish we have but noticed it does look very much like this pic of a shadow catfish. Did think it was a bolivian ram fry but then noticed it has barbles. It likes to stay in the sheltered area of the tank where there is little flow so was thinking it might be a shadow catfish. Only problem is that we've never had shadow catfish in the tank or bought plants form a tank with shadow catfish in. Infact never even been anywhere that sells shadow catfish sop are running out of idea's. So what could it be?
