It doesnt matter wether you have a hermit, redclaw, fiddler or any other type of crab. Show me your set-up! I'm researching about them and going to decide which species to buy in a few weeks. what im looking for is basicly inspiration on how to go about setting up my tank.

I don't have a crab yet, but I'd love to do a large brackish tank with a sloping substrate, so there'd be a little bit of 'beach' and have a crab along with some monos or scats and a goby and I'm not sure what else. But I don't have the room right now.
Have you had any good ideas in the past day?

I just started my setup for 2 red-clawed crabs, i will eventually post a picture when it's decent looking.

Basically, i'm using an eclipse system 3 half filled with water, I removed the stock filter and added a HYDOR pico internal filter.

My substrate is gravel and i have a small lava rock in the middle so they could get some air.

Since the crabs were kept in freshwater i'm increasing the salinity so the are acclimated gradually. Probably gonna get it up to 1.005

It doesn't have to be very elaborate. Just so long as each crab has an area to get out of the water. They can be very teritorial. One of the better looking setups that I came up with was using driftwood.
