Show me your tanks!

I don't really like the look of my tank right now because its kind of blah I'm looking to get some ideas so please show me your tanks! I don't really like the play sand and am thinking about switching to black Tahitian moon sand or something. And I don't like the rock structure either so I'm thinking about doing something new. I like the look of Texas holey rocks with black sand, but I don't want to pay that much for rocks. Any suggestions? Here's a pic of my BLAH tank.........

Whats the problem with the lighter sand? Just curious.

I think it looks pretty good, a decent tank for breeding if you were looking for that. Not so much Natural but still looks decent. I like the white sand.

Its too bright I think darker sand would make the fish's colors stand out more. I saw a goldfish tank at Petco the other day, and they had black sand and light rocks, and I thought it looked pretty good. I would like to make it look a little more natural too, that rock structure didn't work out the way I wanted it to.

get some moss or sumtin to put all over the caves... that would be hot

i agree that the rock structure is not my favorite. =/ i like the sand just fine, but i'm sure black will look great also. i'm not really sure as far as suggestions for the rocks... but i'm interested in seeing what others think because i need to mbuna-ize my tank also!

From what i've personally observed, the cichlid's colors darkened over dark substrate.
