I have both albino bristlenose pleco and a common pleco in my 75 gallon tank. I recently bought some NutriDiet whole shrimp and was curious if these types of plecos will eat such foods. Usually I feed my plecos cukes slices, algae wafters and of course some driftwood is also present in the tank. When I put the shrimp in the tank, the cories and the platies go nuts, but there is no interest by the plecos. Anyone else have experience with this?

the common pleco is probably the only one i would expect ever trying it, but both those plecos are primarily herbivores.
Now there are some very carnivorous, plecos (omnivores technically) like the gold nugget, that might eat shrimp products. most fancy colored plecos are carnivorous enough to eat stuff like that.

Yeah, I knew that bristlenoses and the common pleco where mainly herbivories, but I know that they will eat dead things (if they are hungary enough) and thought maybe they would like something different for a change. My common pleco will go after shrimp wafters
