shrimp problem

i got a cleaner shrimp a few weeks ago. and the guy at the LFS gave me a banded shrimp (boxer shrimp). today, i noticed the boder shrimp eating my cleaner shrimp... should i have seen this comming? live aquarea says the boxer shrimp is agressive to smaller shrimp but mine was not small...

what i have as of now is:
coral banded shrimp
hawaiian yellow tang
small clown
few damsils.

would it be ok to add a fire fish?

yes, the boxer shrimp could have killed your cleaner...or the cleaner could have died and it was simply eating the remains

don't you have a big ich outbreak right now? adding a fire fish would be a very bad idea

yea, aren't you having serious problems with your tank...adding fish is a bad idea...sit back and let your tank get fixed....don't add anything for 2 months.

i know, i havent added anything except for a couple snails... i want to get the fire fish in a QT tank for the time i am fighting the ich... i have kick ich and it is a 15 day process... i am going to let it sit for about 6 weeks after this process is over...

You may as well do nothing as add kick ich.... I would not buy any more fish, I think you need the QT/hospital to treat the ones you have properly
