Shrimp

Hi all

Can anyone give me some info on keeping shrimp in a freshwater aquarium?
I've got 4 adult shrimp (not too sure what type tho) about 1" each and have read some info about shrimp on the net.
Has anyone kept them before?
I'm just basically looking for some kind of experiences info if possible

well I have a total of 3 amano shrimp, 4 ghost shrimp, and 2 shrimp that have a long pointy red nose!!

They are good for eating bottom food as they are scavengers, but i noticed as they get bigger, relaly bigger they start to go after fish and try to eat them think of them as smaller crayfish!!!

All i have is ghost shrimp and i dont feed them anything they scavenge off the bottom or even sometimes come to the top of the tank to eat food.

i occasionally feed my fish ghost shrimp other then that havent had experience other then that, my small altum sucks them down like a vacuum
