I just stocked my tank. And my fish are so shy. When ever someone walks by the tank they all run and hide. But if you sit in front of the tank for a moment, they all come back out and play. Is this normal, will they grow out of it.
Yes it is normal. All new fish are shy (except my Yo-Yo doesn't seem to care about anything) for the first few days/weeks. Try not to make sudden movements or sneak up on them. I've also found that if they see you putting the food in the tank then they will start hiding a lot less.
