Sick betta!

My betta has recently stopped eating and has been hanginng around at the bottom of his tank and in between plants. His fins at the very tips are turning red. I really need help because I do not want to lose anymore fish.

it looks like it might be fin rot because the fins are shorter. did a water change earlier today.

do you have a heater on his tank? do you test his water at all? It sounds like he could have a bacterial problem, septicemia maybe (becasue of the redness)- keep his tank clean and warm. I would look around for pictures of diseases and see if you can find a match before you buy any medicine.
