I have had 4 clown loaches for quite some time. For about the last 2 weeks one of them has been very inactive, and occasanally lays on his side. I thought that I would wait to see if it recovers and it hasn't. It looks like it is starving to death. All of the other clowns are absolutley fine, as with the rest of the fish. My ph is a bit high, but it has been for a while and I am now working on slowly lowering it. Ammonia test come out as 0 and nitrates as near 0 and nitrites at 0. I have plants in this tank too, but I just don't know why he isn't healthy. Any suggestions?

I guess first of all, I would not recommend changing the ph! It may cause more dis-stress and harm. Btw, what is your ph?

Other considerations are changes in temp that may of happen recently or any other fluctuations, new additions! Also, are there any physical symptons (bloating, abnormal feces, etc)!

The temp seems to not be real stable, it seems to flucuate with 5 degrees now and then. I'm just gradually changing the ph on water changes, last time I checked the ph was above 8. There doesn't seem to be any differences, except that he is really skinny, he often hides in things too.
