Sick Dwarf Gourami

dwarf gourami is sick i dunno i dont think it is ich the marks look like injurys. they are about half a centimetre big and the tiger bards used to pick on it alot wheret they are located i have moved him to a 2 foot hospital tank by him self and has been in there for 1 week and doesnt seem to be recovering much he is acting all the same its just the injury i dont no if its from the other picking on him or its a disease.

i dont wanna lose this little fella as he is a beautiful fish

Try adding some Melafix to the water but make sure if you do there's no active carbin in your filter cause it'll just suck it up.

And keep a close eye on the injury. If it's showing any raw redness, or white/greyness then you'll probably need a stronger antibiotic (Maracyn makes several very good ones).

If he's all by himself you may want to try a bit of Aquarium salt in the water too some people say.

Also if you have access to a digital camera a picture could help.
