Sick Fish

Ok, got a neon who has the top of his skull *whitening*. Fading? Almost like the skin is drying out (if that makes sense)

Imagine a cataract eye, how the eye *whites* over.

Google search for this condition didn't give any results. It doesn't look like Ich (no flakes, crystals). Eyes are not *bulging*.

No other fish have it, but the betta died because of something similar a month+ ago.

Sounds like neon tetra disease except that you said your betta had it? Look up velvet for fish as well and see if that looks familiar.

Temp is a bit on the chilly side, warm it up a bit and that will get rid of a few of the nasties in the tank.

I think I would get him out of the tank as soon as possible to avoid infecting anything else. If you have a little hospital tank to put him in, that would be best until you figure out what is causing it.
