Sick Panda Cory?!?

HELP!!!!!! I think my panda cory is sick...she seems very lathargic and she's been this way for a few days. I thought she was just in a temporary funk but I'm getting more worried. Does anybody have any ideas?? *SICK*

Are there any other symptoms? What other fish and what size tank? Is the tank fully cycled? Is it eating?

mMm there aren't many other symptoms..she just seems almost sad there are 4 neon tetras, a skirt tetra, a broze cory, 2 platies, and a tiger barb in there an it's a 10 gallon tank..yes the tank is fully cycled but i haven't seen her eat..

I have a feeling that your panda may be getting attacked by either the tiger barb or the skirt tetra. Have you noticed any signs of agression? Cories really like to be in larger groups, to be safe, but you already have too many fish in there.

Also, have you checked your nitrates? Cories can be sensitive to high nitrates. You are overstocked, and this could be adding to the problems.

i didn't know i had to0 many fish..i waz told that u could have a 1-inch sized fish per every gallon an that'd be ok Hmm thankz for the info..i'll go check on the nitrates

The 1 inch refers to the adult size... not the size at which you buy them.

yea you're right about that *thumbsup2 i checked the nitrate level an yea it's up a lil' and i'm thinking about definately removing the tiger barb ..yet i'm not really sure bout what to do with him ..hMm..
