Well that time has come again. Just 4 days after moving the pair of Convicts to a new tank they breed!!!!!!!!

Hundreds of eggs..........should be hatching tomorrow sometime. I can see little black specks in the eggs now..........

SIGH.........hey but live food is good food for fish.

Nice prob to have. I have similar probs with my livebearers. Must mean your tanks are healthy. Good food for everyone is right.

i wish i could have little cichlids of my very own, i have a female cichlasoma synspilum that lays eggs but no male, and a fmale firemouth w/a similar problem, sigh** one day i will get to go to kansas city, and get at least maybe one of the egglayers a man lol. as i speak my pesty little 8 inch friend has laid yet another batch of a thousand eggs, for the tenth time now, arghh, one of these days ill find her a male....... :-(
