Hello,
I have a 55g fresh water tank. Probably about 4 different species swimming around in there, along with some snails. Water is changed in a responsible manner, fish are fed usually twice a day.
My silver dollar fish appear to be decaying alive or sick. 3/4 have a pinkish patch on their side [upon further inspection one of them has it between the eyes], that looks like their silvery skin has either been eaten (not likely) or some sort of parasite/bacteria is responsible... there also appears to be white growth on all of their noses...
None of the tank's other residents seem to be affected, and the silver dollars are acting normally (schooling, attacking food...) they do appear to swim aimlessly, but I figured that was an attribute of all fish...
Anyway, I have searched the net for a few days and found nothing matching the description I have posted... any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you all.
