Silver-green color on cory gills?

Hi!

I've got 4 cories (3 leopard ones and one unknown one with spots and has a band on its head). Anyway, the spotted one and one of the leopards have a silvery-green color on their gills (looks like under their skin) . So far they are still active and don't have problems, but I don't know what this could be. The others don't have the same issue, or rarely have it.

Any ideas? Are they healthy?

mine are kinda shiny...if they haven't changed their behavior at all I'd think they're probably ok. How long have you had them? Sometimes when fish are at the pet store they are very dull in coloring because they're stressed and have a poor diet, but once they come to your house they can start really coloring up and looking good after a matter of weeks.

A patch of iredescent green on a corys gills is normal; all of mine have it.

I've had two for around a month, and the other two for much longer. I think the older ones have them, so if green gills=healthy, then everything is OK.
