Silverton Aquarium in Vegas

The aquarium was definitely worth the 15 minute drive off the strip. Got there in time for the feeding and saw the mermaid show. What a job, swim in a big reef tank with a mermaid tail on and wave to all the little girls lined up around the aquarium The tank was large and impressive. Tons of blue tangs but they were all shredded.

Looks like fun!

We'll have to check it out next time we go. We've been to the other aquarium a couple of times, and have visited most of the fish stores in the area.

It was worth going to. The tank is 360 degrees around with concaved bubbles that you can walk into and get a good view. The jellyfish were in wall tanks in the lounge next to the aquarium. Jump off the Stratosphere too if you are there!

My 70 gallon ran well for the four days I had to leave it unattended phew!

Wow! That is AMAZING! I wish I had the $ that the casinos do in Vegas to invest in a tank that massive! The jelly fish look outstanding! Good to hear your tank did fine during your trip!

The Mirage has a really nice one behind their registration lobby. Not as nice as Silverton because you can't get close to it but it's really long and filled with a ton of fish.
