Okay, so I finally got a Remora Pro per everyone's advice and wetweb.com--however, my set-up is an Eclipse 37 complete with hood. I've heard of lots of people discussing that it is POSSIBLE to cut the hood in some manner to accommodate the skimmer, but every single message is a run-around ("oh yeah, it's possible...look here...call this...") but no one can walk me through the process. If you know or have done this procedure, please post and let me know EXACTLY how to do it. Otherwise, I'm standing by with another power filter and trashing the hood (putting on the side).
