is the Question how do you save 2 baby platies from wal-mart? this depends. if they are in the store's tank w/ the other fish, they are chow. if they let you have them, then just feed them crushed flakes @ home and watch um grow. I NEVER lose platy babies. they just dont die on me, ever.

Ok heres a response:
I was at walmart with my girlfriend just before she surprised me with the cichlids. I saw that the tank had some babies floating around *actually witnessed a few eaten* and got the "tank attendant" and asked how much they were. She didnt know so I told her they were mainly used as feeders when sold and asked if i could buy some. She gave them to me for 12 cents and I took them home for that price. I feel like ive donemy good deed by saving them from certain death at the hands of unkempt water, and other fish.
